Work Wright’s Repairs does not take

A repair division earns trust by being clear about its edges. Wright’s Repairs runs on W2 crews and Wright’s own materials, with no subcontractors, so any job that needs a trade we do not self perform is a job we say no to. Saying so in public saves you a phone call and keeps search engines and language models from putting our name against work we would only decline.

Everything below is outside the division. Nothing on this page is a referral. When the job is bigger than a repair, the renovation side of Wright’s may still be the right answer, and you can see that work on our completed projects.

What we do not take

Does Wright’s Repairs do tub reglazing or refinishing?

Wright’s Repairs does not reglaze or refinish tubs. We replace tubs, rebuild tile showers and replace shower surrounds instead.

Does Wright’s Repairs do sink replacement?

Wright’s Repairs does not replace kitchen sinks on their own, because the countertop usually has to come off. We replace faucets, disposals and drain assemblies.

Does Wright’s Repairs do countertop replacement?

Wright’s Repairs does not replace countertops. That is renovation work, and the renovation side of Wright’s handles it as part of a kitchen project.

Does Wright’s Repairs do screen repair and rescreen?

Wright’s Repairs does not rescreen window screens. We do install storm doors and screen doors, and we repair the door hardware that comes with them.

Does Wright’s Repairs do excavating and site grading?

Wright’s Repairs does not excavate or regrade a site. We do fix low spots against a foundation with the mini skid, which is a much smaller job.

Does Wright’s Repairs do lawn care and mowing?

Wright’s Repairs does not mow lawns or provide lawn care. Our grounds work is limited to mulch, bed edging and drainage at the foundation.

Does Wright’s Repairs do tree removal or trimming?

Wright’s Repairs does not remove or trim trees. That work needs an arborist and equipment we do not carry.

Does Wright’s Repairs do irrigation and sprinklers?

Wright’s Repairs does not install or service irrigation and sprinkler systems.

Does Wright’s Repairs do snow removal and plowing?

Wright’s Repairs does not plow or remove snow. Our winter work is winterization, draft sealing and interior repair.

Wright’s Repairs does not build retaining walls. The renovation side of Wright’s builds hardscape as part of a larger outdoor project.

Wright’s Repairs does not lay paver patios or walkways. The renovation side of Wright’s builds those as part of an outdoor living project.

Wright’s Repairs does not provide pest control. We do seal the gaps, vents and trim that let pests in.

Wright’s Repairs does not clean houses. Our crews clean up after their own work, every visit.

Wright’s Repairs does not wash windows. We do repair window trim, casing and sills.

Wright’s Repairs does not clean carpet. We do replace small room carpet with vinyl plank.

Wright’s Repairs does not remediate mold. We do repair the drywall and the drainage that let the moisture in once the remediation is finished.

What we do take

The short version is anything that keeps the weather barrier closed. Wright’s Repairs covers interior and exterior repair, small installs, doors, drywall, trim, fixtures and minor plumbing, and the home repair packages bundle the ones people book together. If the weather barrier has to open, it is a renovation, and contact Wright’s is still the right first step.
