Mario “Chile” Ramirez

Construction runs in Mario “Chile” Ramirez’s family. Growing up in Southeast Michigan, he watched his father build homes through the subdivisions of Canton and Plymouth while his mother showed him the artistic side of making something from nothing. She’s still his model for self-sufficiency and for finding a creative answer to any problem, which is the mindset he brings to Wright’s Renovations.

Where math meets framing

Chile started framing houses with his dad during high school summers. While earning an associate degree in mathematics from Washtenaw Community College, he realized there was no better place to apply it than a job site. In 2017 he found his specialty in curved stair building, the kind of work where geometry and craftsmanship meet. From 2018 to 2024 he ran his own framing company, building high-end custom homes for some of the most respected builders in the region.

Those years taught him that every house tells a story, and he’s proud to have built the spaces where families make theirs. At Wright’s he found a team that shares his standard for quality and problem-solving. His approach is simple: listen carefully, consider every angle and find the most effective solution, whether the job is a complicated whole-home remodel or a new addition.

Away from the job site

Outside work you’ll find Chile playing sports at MiLife, at the table for a weekly Dungeons and Dragons session, or in his garage working on old motorcycles and cars that are usually broken and may or may not get fixed. At home, he and his girlfriend share the house with their pets. To put his precision to work on your project, contact us today.
