Katherine Anderson

Katherine Anderson is the chief administrative officer at Wright’s Renovations, which means the schedules, paperwork and day-to-day operations that keep a design-build project on track run through her desk. Born and raised in Michigan, she’s the eldest of three sisters and learned responsibility early.

From the dojo to the office

Discipline came from karate. Katherine earned a second-degree black belt in Ryukyu Kempo Karate and became the youngest instructor at her dojo, two milestones that taught her how to lead a room. Her love of animals took her to Michigan State University for a degree in animal science, where she also competed on the equestrian team.

After graduation her career moved from veterinary work into administrative, sales and business management roles, and that mix is exactly what Wright’s needed. She brings the same calm, organized approach to a kitchen remodel timeline that she once brought to a classroom of students.

Away from the office

Katherine is an amateur photographer and still takes regular horseback riding lessons. She and her husband, Kevin, enjoy Magic: The Gathering, video games and board games, along with trips to the shooting and archery range, motorcycle rides and afternoons by the pool with family and friends.
