Katherine Anderson

Born and raised in Michigan, my life has been shaped by a blend of responsibilities, hobbies, and a quest for personal and professional growth. As the eldest of three sisters, I learned the essence of responsibility early on, a trait further honed through my dedication to karate. Achieving a second-degree black belt in Ryukyu Kempo Karate and becoming the youngest instructor at my dojo were milestones that taught me discipline and leadership. My love for animals guided me to pursue a degree in animal science from Michigan State University, where I also excelled as a member of the equestrian team. Post-graduation, my career path took a turn from veterinary work to roles in administrative, sales, and business management, leading to a fulfilling position at Wright’s Renovations.

Outside of my professional pursuits, my life is enriched by a variety of hobbies. I’m an amateur photographer on the side and attend regular horseback riding lessons. My husband Kevin and I enjoy the nerdy things in life, like the immersive worlds of Magic: The Gathering, video games, and board games. Our leisure time is a blend of outdoor activities, such as visits to the gun/archery range and motorcycle rides, and relaxing moments by our pool, always making time for family and friends. This journey, from martial arts to animal science, and eventually to business management, reflects my evolution through diverse interests and the continuous search for my true passion.
